How were you discovered?

It happened naturally as my father had been a model for 3 decades. It is starting to be a family thing now.

You come from a legacy of modelling. What is the greatest piece of advice you have received from your parents?

Things do not mean anything, if you lose your ability to reflect on yourself and to respect all others. I find it beautiful how everybody lives life differently. I think we can learn from one and another.

What is your middle name?

Lucas. Named after my grandpa.

How many languages do you speak? And what are they?

Two! Dutch and English.

Do you consider yourself to be an ambitious person?

Not necessarily, I very much navigate on what feels good.

Are you competitive?

Sports related yes, but anything further than that no.

What was your first job in the industry?

I did this Dutch magazine when I was 14 with my father.

If there is one thing you could tell yourself when you were 10, what would it be?

Enjoy the ride and feel free.

What’s one thing you can’t live without?

Freedom.

What is your idea of happiness?

I believe happiness is an emotion. When I choose to be happy I feel very relaxed and I can think about the things I want to be. Being my own best friend in a way.

How do you define masculinity?
Masculinity: I would say some wild wild west influenced by punk chic, femininity and very sensual feelings. And a cigarette.

Do you believe in love at first sight?

Yes.

 What do you find attractive?

Someone easy going but still very adventurous.

Have you ever had your heart broken?

Yes, once.

What is the first song on your playlist?

Slippery People – Talking Heads live version.

What do you sleep in?

Boxers.

Shower or Bath?

Only showers.

Instagram or Snapchat?

Neither.

What was cool when you were young but isn’t cool now?

Disc-mans.

Best memory?

Being on holiday with my family. It’s always an adventure.

Everything family related.
