Taking inspiration from his British heritage, designer J.W. Anderson has created a capsule collection for Uniqlo comprising of 34 pieces for men and women featuring duffel coats, mackintosh’s, striped knits, scarfs and bags. London’s timeless designer and the Japanese retailer could not be more ends of the spectrum within the industry but the mutuality between the both have combined effortlessly together for this revolutionary range. With Anderson’s previous collections consisting of quirky, mix-match print, feathers and crochet the designs used in the collaboration pieces are a fitting touch.
Anderson mentions that working with Uniqlo has been ‘the most incredible template of democracy in fashion’ and credits the fashion brand for its accessibly to all different levels when it will launch in September’17.
