A$AP MOB DROP VISUAL TREATMENT FOR ‘RAF

Saluting Belgian fashion designer Raf Simons, A$AP Mob have dropped an artsy music video for their single ‘RAF’ featuring Playboi Carti and Migos’ Quavo. Lil Uzi Vert and Frank Ocean are on the original version of the track, but their contributions are notably absent from this video for whatever reason.

The video’s visuals are an obvious inspiration taken from Simons’ earlier fashion collections.
A$AP Rocky is no stranger to dropping knowledge about Simons and the video portrays this in full effect with references to the designer’s influential work and iconic pieces. Overall, it really pays homage to Raf Simons’ first-ever collection from Fall/Winter ’95/’96. In the hazy visual, the three rappers walk across the screen while modelling key pieces from the designer. The trio (Rocky, Quavo and Carti) are individually known for their unique style of fresh design. Not only is the video fashion excellence but it also effectively compliments the hip hop collective.

The music video is an insight to new material as we eagerly wait for A$AP Mob’s upcoming Cozy Tapes Vol. 2.
